Hello,
My name is Sharon, AKA “YourGuitarGuide”, I’m passionate about music and playing the guitar. My goal is to guide you through this realm we call music. By promoting, educating, and with some humor.
YourGuitarGuide has been playing guitar for over 30 years. Music has always been a passion of mine.
Looking back I remember my first guitar. I was 7 years old, and it was a Christmas I’ll never forget. That’s when I also started guitar lessons. Even though that guitar is long gone. I still have the same love for playing. Maybe even more!
Back then there was no YouTube or even the internet. So the way you had to learn was by ear. Listening to the radio, or hitting the rewind button on the tape deck. Over and over again. Even before all that came, there was the record player. I remember lifting the arm of the record player until the needle was on the right part of the song. Again and again! Since then I have spent a lot of time studying guitar. Hopefully I can make it easier for you to learn how to play the guitar. I promise you there will be no record players involved! 🙂 I want to spread the passion to young and old. So join me on this venture. I’ll try to make things easier and fun along the way. Because that’s what it’s all about. Having fun!
